Well it’s not really a ‘christmas edition’ – it’s just me preparing christmas cards? Anyway, here’s what it looks like when a christmas card order came through.
As you can see from the video I first handwrite the card and try to match the original as much as possible, draw on the leaves thingy (with mildliners, yes) and then wrap the envelop and the card with a lil strip of paper. I try not to waste too much new materials on packaging (in order to be more environmentally friendly), so I’d use old sketch books and stuff (but the end result is still pretty good!). With the address written on the envelope and everything’s ready, I’ll then go to the local post office and mail it 😀 When I’m in Canada, packages would be mailed via CanadaPost (obviously) so if you live in North America, you’ll receive your order pretty soon. However, when I’m in Hong Kong where everything will be mailed via Hong Kong Post Office, your order will take a little bit longer to reach you (just keep that in mind!)
I’ll definitely film more ‘behind the scenes’ later on so stay tuned for that 🙂
