Staying organised while you’re at school (ft. my printable student planners bundle)


I’m 18 years old right now, which means that I’ve been through 16 years of education. From my experience, school is tough, especially when you’re struggling to stay organised (me right now lol because I’ve just started uni). So in order to help y’all students out there, I’ve created a bunch of printable planners! Obviously, it’s not a must to use my printable – you can use your bullet journal, a random paper or a plain notebook to stay organised. I just designed the printables according to what works for me and I hope that this post will help some of you guys out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1. Monthly planner

This is one of the essentials – use it to write down important dates, deadlines, birthdays, holidays etc. Colour code as you want and pin it up 😀

2. Weekly planner

Every Sunday, I’d take the time to sit down and plan for the next week. Take a look at your to do list and your schedule, maybe reflect a little bit on what you have accomplished and what you have missed in the last 6 days and plan accordingly.

3. Daily planner

It’s better to set a goal everyday, but not too many so that you’d have enough energy to do one well – the same applies to the daily to do list: I’ve limited it to 3 items only so there will be no ‘OH NO I HAVE TOO MUCH TO DO WHAT AM I GOING TO DO maybe watch netflix first…?’ situation happening ever again. There’s a meal planner, which I find really useful when I need to cook for myself (sometimes you just don’t want to eat in the cafeteria). And a daily schedule of course, for meetings, classes and whatsoever.

4. Assignment tracker

This. is. a. life. saver. Especially in secondary school because the deadlines tends to be in the near future (while in university, professor gives out syllabuses with assignment that may be due in a few months later (in that case, I’d put it into my monthly calendar)). BUT I still have a list of ‘immediate’ assignment so I don’t forget anything 😛

5. Brain Dump

Ideas come and go, and it’s really difficult to remember them unless you note them down. I’d usually use my phone or my pocket notebook to store my random ideas, and then when I’m working on a project or something like that, I’d go over my page of random ideas and see if any of them fit, put them all down in the brain dump paper and select which to use and which to ditch.

6. Class schedule

Pretty self explanatory – I have one pinned up on my cork board so I’ll see it every morning and know which class I have to go to.

7. Courses & Contacts

Pretty self explanatory as well – it’s a place for you to store all your professors’ info so you can access it with ease.

8. Exam Planner

Who doesn’t hate exam? (ughhhhhhh) Hopefully this will help some of you guys – breaking it down into sections and tackling it bit by bit is prob a lot easier than cramming the night before right?

9. Grades Tracker

Yeah sometimes I just don’t wanna look at my grades but having a grade tracker helps with knowing where you’re at so that you can maybe make a plan on how to improve?

10. Formula Sheet

If you’re a science student like me, then you’ll know the pain of having to memorise all the formulas TT

11. Project Planner

Same concept as tackling an exam – it’s less daunting (and you’re less likely to procrastinate) if you breakthe project down into manageable chunks

12. Group Project Planner

A project planner but for group projects! Not sure about you but I quite like group projects (if everyone is hardworking enough lol)

13. Habit Tracker

(please ignore my gross colouring skills) Habit tracker is a great way to keep track of daily goals – it must be really satisfying if a line is completely filled!

14. To Do List

Last but not least – the to do list! I like to have a general to do list and then I’ll select some of them to put into my daily planner.
