Our first step towards equipping Service business owners with business health insights that will drive smarter decisions

At Jobber, we strive to empower home service business owners with all the tools they need to succeed, and an important part of it is providing visibility into key business health metrics that will help our customers make informed decisions 📊. With the goal of embedding this critical information into our customer’s day-to-day operations, we started an initiative to integrate these insights within one of the most frequently used surfaces in Jobber Online - the list views.

Our journey began with identifying the most important metrics relevant to each list view through user research and cross-teams workshops. I was then able to craft a design pattern that works across all list views without overshadowing the primary focus of the list themselves. This is merely the first step towards our broader vision - as we expand our business health metrics offering, our customers will be able to dive deeper into the analytics, further empowering them to make better business decisions and succeed in their respective fields.
